Finally, crappy 1990s television comes together with really good indie game, Cave Story.
CityOne is going to be IBM’s Sim City where players work towards solving real world problems. Let’s just hope it’s better than SimHealth: The National Health Care Simulation — released during the Clinton years, a DOS game made by Maxis with none of it’s good music.
Ah, the internet greatness that is Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog comes again. This time it’s a stylized, 8-bit, NES-like YouTube and website. So far, only Act One is up, but I’m sure more are coming. Until then, you all will just have to get your Neil Patrick Harris fix some other way.
Listening to Mr Crowley on the radio today, I realized that the ending sequence of Mr Crowley and the title theme of Wizards and Warriors have the same chord progression. Watch a bit of the above videos for the comparison. What a catchy sequence!
This is the biggest city I’ve ever built in Sim City 3000. My only regret is not keeping a copy of the saved game, or having a monitor capable of resolutions larger than 800×600.
